"Over the past hundred years, Sweet Briar has prepared women to be more than “useful members of society” – graduates have gone on to be some of the most successful and influential leaders of their fields.  This year, the Class of 2009 will graduate and enter that group of distinguished alumnae.  The world today is very different than the one the first graduates of SBC in 1910 entered; we have a host of new opportunities and advantages that women a hundred years ago never dreamed.  While the possibilities are endless, it is the skills we have learned at Sweet Briar that have prepared us to go out and make a difference and excel in the world at large.  Our class is one of the strongest, most united classes at the college, and therefore has the ability to leave a legacy at SBC through our Senior Class Campaign.  So lets GIVESTRONG!"
