Sweet Briar’s Annual Fund comprises unrestricted gifts that support each facet of the Sweet Briar experience, providing annual budget support to the entire College. - The 2008 Annual Fund raised over $2,000,000 in support of the College.
- More than 250 volunteers worked to make the 2008 Annual Fund a success.
- Participation by alumnae in Reunion Giving was 58 percent.
- 350 alumnae, parents and friends gave at the leadership level.
- Giving by Current Parents increased to more than $130,000.

- $500 supports one student worker position per semester
- $825 covers travel for one away game for an athletic team
- $1200 provides a foreign language tutor for one year
- $1600 underwrites the student admission fee to one academic conference
